It’s a little ’secret’ handbook that I wrote for you as a thank-you for joining us in WLD ‘09. It reveals the ugly truth of what really goes on behind the scenes in the card flourish community, and how to always stay above that.
You see, over the years as a card flourisher, I’ve seen many card flourishers crash and burn for various reasons while others got successful and recognized in the community. A lot of Virtuoso’s and Bone’s success was really about observing what the great guys before us did and modeling off it.
I’d like you to think of this piece as a quick immersion into what that was for my team and Bone, and what we did to ’secure our position’ in the community so to speak.
Feel free to use what you learn here to begin that process for yourself, the process of taking everything life throws at you and running it through a ‘maximizing filter” so your brain gets trained to automatically lead you down the right path.

The editing software is a mix of After Effects and Final Cut Pro, though we use After Effects most of the time for our stuff. In fact, besides our video tutorials, all the photos and this entire site was designed by Daren using After Effects.

Because we have no clue how to use photoshop well.

I really love the way you wrote in the book….applies to everything we do in life too.
Problems will come day after day, but there are ppl who jus sit there and do nth, or ppl who failed but at least they try to do sumthing….in the end, the latter succeeds.
I find this reali inspiring as I have similar life experiences too and managed to pull out of it by sheer willpower and trying.
