  1. Niall says:

    Think any of you will ever ’sell out’ or keep this stuff online for us? (;

  2. Tarvi says:

    Hey.

Was there a reason for the full version of the Vietnam meetup not coming out? I never found out, and I’m not sure if it was for lack of asking, or if there wasn’t a reason in the public domain. Are we allowed to know, or is that to be kept private?

    -Dave

  3. Creeper says:

Your making a dvd for one move?

  4. Theso says:

This one was bound to come up eventually. ;)

How do you create original moves?

  5. jrobarts05 says:

How did the name originate? virtuoso, the virts? any story behind that? Every think about trying to email the gambit video to stan lee himself? something tells me he might appreciate it. What can we expect after this?

  6. Adam says:

Wasn’t an explanation for the anaconda officially released a while back :/

  7. Zac says:

Are moves like Mockingbird and Sick and Twisted Wings of the Mockingbird going to be on the DVD?

Or is Virtuoso going to come out with solely its own DVD featuring each one’s signature moves?

  8. Chris Beason says:

    I agree with Zac…

Is the Sick and Twisted Wings of the Mockingbird going to be on it? Because then I would DEFINITLY get it.

  9. Fred says:

    Oooh, can’t wait!
Maybe I’ve been doing the anaconda wrong the whole time :O
And yea, would you release moves from your old vids? Like old school cuts, I’d love to see those taught…

  10. Chris says:

Will you guys ever relase sick and twisted wings of the moking bird?

  11. Leo says:

How do ya’ll feel right now? (Huron & The Virts)..To be so successful in cardistry.
    How would ya’ll describe it?

  12. Zach Mueller says:

I don’t believe that anything is 100% perfect in life. But there is always a point where you feel extremely satisfied with whatever your doing, in this case mastering a flourish. What does it take for you guys to become satisfied that a certain flourish becomes what you want it to be?

Also, do you believe that flourishing is just something that will always be done on camera, or do you think at some point it will become so popular, that flourishing will become awell known sport, like hackey sack or juggling?

    ~Zach

  13. dchriskater@hotmail.com says:

thinking that is gonna be what DVD or Book can help me to
    learn good this flourish.

    thanks guys

    -Chris

  14. Frezzingaces says:

bone- how did you get your name? is it your actual named (got it changed) or is it just a nick name?

  15. Dylan says:

The inititave, vision, and passion that these guys have just blew my mind. These guys are going to breed an army of the world’s greatest flourishers. I’m totally pumped. Push it to the limit!

  16. Blaireau says:

A fundamental question to every artist. What keeps you going, when you’re down?

We’ve all hit those tough spots, when it feels like the whole world is bearing on your shoulders, and the weight seems like it’s too heavy for you to keep afoot. What have each of you guys personally found to be the thing that gets you through? Is it the people around you? Is it just barreling through? Perhaps a chance discovery that gives you just enough juice to power yourself back up?

It sucks, it really really does, to find yourself swimming in muck and it’s black all around you. What do you do when you can’t drown out the voices of the people telling you that it’s not worth it, that you’re too weak, that you’ve not really changed and you haven’t gotten anywhere? I know I’m now beating this dead horse, but, I think that this is a subject that gets starved.

More especially, what do you do when the doubts come from within yourself?

    Love Always,
    –Blaireau

  17. Paul says:

Dear Virts, what are you plans for the future? Not Flourish-wise but ‘life-wise’? Do you wanna study or something or just continue what you’re doing right now? Btw what are you doing right now beside flourishing?

  18. Chris says:

@Bone Ho or The Virts -

The big picture for you all seems to be, bringing cardistry into more of the spotlight and showing people about our art as well as the passion behind it. What are your long term goals for this artform? What are some of things you really want to accomplish and have been working to accomplish for quite sometime now?

  19. thecardster says:

are there going to be any interviews? outtakes?

  20. Chriz0r says:

I don’t understand you guys, why would they release Kevin Ho’s sick and twisted wings of the mocking bird on Bone Ho’s DVD?

  21. Zac says:

    @Chriz0r
They’re releasing one of Bone Ho’s signature moves, and unless I’m mistaken, The Virts are helping with the DVD. My point is that if they want to add they’re signature moves too, it wouldn’t be too weird.

Plus, it was just a question. If the answer is no, it’s no… but you’d got to admit… what if they say yes

  22. Captain Feathersword says:

Another question about the anaconda being released already. There was a series of photos and a tutorial written for Magic Magazine that was never published….this tutorial along wtih the photos was later released on Handlordz. Are you saying that this tutorial is not “blessed” by Bone?

I’m extremely excited about the DVD…just this one thing that is confusing me.

  23. Chris says:

    @Captain Feathersword

    Huron already answered that.

Actually an official tutorial of the Anaconda has never been released. ;)
If you’re referring to the cute photo pdf with the brief accompanying text, all I can say is that it barely scrapes the surface of every technique, nuance and subtlety required to really do the Anaconda. Plus, it wasn’t released by Bone either. -From Huron

  24. Darian says:

Since my first post was quietly deleted, I’ll ask again what is this event all about? What will take place during the two weeks? And I’d like to know how you guys met Bone….

    • The Virts says:

Thanks for phrasing your comment with more consideration this time round.

We’ll be posting up an FAQ , as more information about what will take place during the two weeks very soon. =) We’ll also be releasing some “Behind The Scenes” content, which will be talking about how Bone and us met.

Do stay tuned to your inbox as well, for there’ll be some information there soon that won’t be released in this members area.

  25. Donald W says:

After watching the anaconda video it states to learn it go to http://www.wld2009.com, but I can’t find where to learn it. Is it coming soon or has it already been released?

  26. Jade Ferrer says:

Ive been doing the anaconda for a while now… this is not the original i guess… i just got it from youtube…. and now… im having a hard time catching the cards and making more height with it… guess should wait for the dvd ei? is it going to be for sale? the dvd… if ever we dont win the competition?

  27. thecardster says:

are there going to be any podcast????

  28. David says:

    Hey,

will the Eye Cut Tutorial be available for free (maybe in the Members Section?) or will it released as a full DVD?

  29. Jamal says:

What do you think about the current online communities? Do you like them? Do you think they can improve? Any certain thing about them that bothers you(except me :P).

  30. Pavel Y. says:

How long it takes to learn the Anaconda Dribble?
i have a video on the anaconda
i saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrgGgDZOhsc and tried it few times.(few tries)
then stoped. I did alot of dribbles, so i learned graduadly to do even dribble.
then i tried a little big. and this is what come out:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgKzCEbVUVU&feature=channel_page
lol im nub i want to learn it better

    • The Virts says:

      Hey Pavel!
The Anaconda takes practically forever if you don’t practice with all the right techniques in place, so I can definitely understand what you’re going through. With the right techniques, you’ll be extremely consistent with a huge Anaconda, and you’ll never have to film it for hours if you’re ever making a video.

Once you get every single element of what makes it work and put them together with some good practice, it’ll suddenly “click”.

It’s hard to explain that awesome feeling when every single detail comes together and you wake up one day being able to do a massive Anaconda… so you’ll really have to experience it for yourself. =)

With that said, whilst we’ve made it almost easy to accomplish the Anaconda with the upcoming DVD, awesome results don’t come without practice, and therefore how long it takes, is completely up to how much you want to be able do it.

      Huron Low, The Virts

  31. Anuj says:

For the Are You Crazy competition, does it have to be one person the entire time, or is it allowed to be the creator of the video, and clips from the past? ( of moments in magic)

    thanks,
    Anuj

  32. crazycardist says:

On the welcome page it says that a few people will learn anaconda,is the dvd gonna be a super secrete type thing where only like 10 people will have it?also, about the eye cut,is winning the crazy ones contest the only way to learn it?

    • The Virts says:

      Hey crazycardist!

The Anaconda DVD and The Eye Cut are going to be a limited release, and we’ll be opening the doors for it for 7 days on the 18th of August!

      Huron Low, The Virts

  33. Pavel Y. says:

hah. i made another video on the anaconda lol :P was late night and bored. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNJNnJYoWbg&feature=channel
i couldn’t do the normal dribble with index curled on top of the deck. so check out this vid :P. i recorded this for hours bcoz of card dropping on my bed

  34. Pavel Y. says:

I cant wait for the winter. Because then we put a carpet on the floor. and you can florish while standing. right now im in my room sitting on the chair with air condition and practicce with hands over my bed. and still cards falling off bed on the dirty floor lol. thats how i ruin the my decks. altough this bicycle 2nd’s on the video pretty durable lol it fell hundreds of times and still fan good. i dont want to ruin my good decks

  35. tyler says:

  36. Jacob says:

    -Jacob

  37. yang wei says:

will you guys be coming to penang?

  38. Phoenix says:

Do you guys enjoy the competition, the attention, and the respect you achieve?

I mean everytime I perform I get this rush, it’s freakin amazing at times it causes me to mess up but I keep going.

  39. Adrian says:

    Hey guys,
I just wanted to know, when you guys first started out with the flourishing, did you begin as a group of friends or did you find each other afterwards? Also, how much time did you devote to practice when you were working your way up to the top? :D

    Thanks,
    Adrian

  40. Bas John says:

I have a quick question : We all know that you guys are a big inspiration to a lot of people.
    But who inspires you ?

    Thanks,
    Bas

  41. Tarvi says:

I noticed you said you were touring Europe, does this mean you will visit the United Kingdom as well, or will you stick to mainland Europe only?

I think there will be enough interest to warrent a visit :-)

    -David

  42. The Virts says:

Hey David. I’m not sure exactly which part of Europe we’ll be visiting, but from the guys flying us over, it’s the same bit place where Dan and Dave toured a couple of years back. =)
We’d love to go around and visit more places, but there’s prob where we’re headed first.

    Huron Low, The Virts

  43. D says:

    Hey guys,

    1. Where can I learn Ninja pluck?
    2. When is the DVD released?
    3. Can I learn Anaconda spring if Im left handed?

You guys are the funniest, craziest, most inspirational people I’ve ever known both in the world of magic and in my life. I would say something like it’s amazing how far you guys have come since I’ve known you, but I believe I’ve said it countless times already but you guys still manage to surprise with bigger and better moves. So really, I’ll just sit back and watch you guys take over the world someday.

I know these guys buying the DVD will be in for a real treat. And boy are they in for loads more because this is really merely tip of the tip of the iceberg stuff.

My hats off to you always,
    Daryl.
