It’s almost hard to imagine, but WLD ‘09 almost didn’t happen.
In fact, at the rate which things were going with clashing schedules and obstacles that seemed like a crazy “order of fate”, the event was a pipe dream more than anything else.
However, we pushed on and things eventually worked in our favor…and my friends, I’m really glad to say that the wait is almost over.
From the initial sketches, concept art, drawings, studio creation and inception of what is probably the most expensive card flourish production ever, we’re proud of what we can now present to you.
We initially planned for this to be to be a low-key and private launch, but the news spread faster than we expected, and now the biggest names in magic and card flourishing have all come together to participate what is now the largest card flourish event of all time.
This event will be a rather “time-sensitive” one so to speak, and I know that these two weeks will fly by extremely quickly, so do stay tuned if you don’t want to miss out on any phase of it.
We did not expect an event of this magnitude… but here we are, together as a community at WLD 2009… and I must say, I’m really happy to have you here with us. =)
